Reporting to the regional technical support manager in dotted line and solid line to all project managers, perform activities of operation, maintenance and services in wind farms including Goldwind wind turbines and their auxiliary systems such as motors, converters, drivers, generator, bearings, couplings, electrical panels, the wind farm SCADA system and other facilities of the wind farm, according to the technical manuals and work instructions in order to keep them in perfect condition and operating performance

Core Responsibilities/Duties:

• TIER2 support to all Chilean projects,
• Perform Quality inspections and create improvement plans.
• Generate work procedures as per HQ and fulfilling local requirements.
• Created RCA reports
• Deliver training to the local team and customer when needed.
• Actively participate in “startup teams” for new technologies / projects
• Perform Commissioning for new projects
• Customer oriented and “I can do” attitude
• Teamwork oriented, excellent communications skills

• Be able to lift up to 25kg and climb ladders and stairs.
• Be able to perform risk analysis previous to any activity

• O&M components and low voltage electrical systems in wind generators;
Operate measuring instruments, testing, and diagnostic tests on components and electrical systems of wind turbines and wind farms;
Predictive maintenance techniques, preventative and corrective components and electrical systems of wind turbines and wind farms;
To ensure service quality and reliability of operation.
Perform assembly, component repair and parking of electrical systems and other commands in order to perfect the operation of equipment;
• Optimize availability and performance of wind turbines, analyze and liberation remot and local turbines.
• Perform inventory and organization of materials, supplies and tools, specifying, delivering and maintaining what is necessary for the execution of the work.
• Control the use / consumption of materials, including identification of the work done and materials consumed;
• Operate and maintain equipment for computer networks and communication protocols;
Operate and maintain systems for monitoring and operation of wind turbines and wind farm substation
• Develop performance reporting activities, technical reports, safety, and other related services in the wind farm; Prepare technical reports of failure analysis and troubleshooting
• Cleaning, collection, and segregation of waste generated by activities
• Ensure compliance with the quality on the site. Create non-conformity where applicable.
Education and Experience:
• Hold an Engineering degree on electrical, automation control.
• Wind industry experience is a major plus, especially in Tech Support.
• English – essential requirement
• Skilled with Microsoft office suite and RCA sw.
